About Wittmann
Ever since 1896, when Franz Wittmann founded a saddlery in Etsdorf, quality consciousness and craftmanship have been central to the company’s culture. In cooperation with wellknown architects, particularly Johannes Spalt, the production of furniture started after World War II. Today world-famous furniture designers work with Wittmann, among them Paolo Piva, Jan Armgardt, Hannes Wettstein and Matteo Thun. The Wittmann philosophy still remained valid over the years: to manufacture hard-wearing, hand-made furniture to timeless designs.
