Delivery InformationChaplins Online Store offers three delivery options: In-Store Collection, Standard Delivery and Chaplins ‘Gold’ Service.
In-Store Collection
In-Store collection is free and gives you the option of collecting from the showroom or our warehouse should you wish to do so.
Standard Delivery
Standard delivery for smaller non furniture items to your front door. The typical delivery window is 7 –10 business days from the day the order is dispatched. No assembly or unpacking is included with this service.
Rates
Chaplins ‘Gold’ ServiceFor larger items, such as sofas, which will require a two or more man delivery, the Gold Service Delivery will apply. The service offered is as follows:
· Delivery to customer within 7 –10 working days · You will receive a telephone call to make an appointment confirming a day and an AM/PM booking slot · The customer may request a pre-call · Customer to remove any breakables · We will lay Floor Protectors · Delivery to room of choice · We will unwrap the goods and assemble where necessary. · We will remove any rubbish Gold Service Rates
* Exceptions apply – some products that are too big for a two-man delivery and properties with problematic access are excluded.
International Delivery
All orders from outside the UK can only be placed over the phone enabling the sales staff to calculate the cost of delivery at the time of the order.
DeliveryYour order will be delivered to you at the delivery address you supply to us at the time you make your order. Chaplins Furniture Ltd will do their utmost to deliver all orders within the lead times given, however, these cannot be guaranteed. Special order items may take longer to deliver.
All orders will require a signature upon receipt. Please note it may not be possible for us to deliver to some locations so if you feel your area is not covered in the table shown above then please call for further assistance. For all overseas orders, ‘Goods in Transit Insurance’ is not included and is the responsibility of the buyer. If required a quotation can be provided. Please be aware that the goods are the customer’s responsibility from the point that we attempt to deliver them and the customer must accept the goods when they are ready to be delivered. Where the Customer does not comply with our attempts to deliver the goods we reserve the right to cancel the entire or part of the order and charge the customer costs to cover storage, delivery, shipping and insurance of the goods. Chaplins Furniture Ltd. will retain the title until such time that the goods have been paid for in full. Please note that we are unable to change an item after it has been entered into production. Please note that it is the responsibility of the customer to check the access to their property and ensure that the item will fit through all doorways, stairwells and within the area of intended use.
