The high quality of the materials, the superbly crafted construction of the seating, and the lovingly crafted perfection make sitting an incomparable and sensual experience. Rolf Benz MIO is elegance you cannot tear yourself away from. The numerous models in the range allow you to devise different combinations in the room. From traditional to novel and innovative layouts – everything is possible: including very modern island arrangements in the middle of a room.
A highly prized new leather from the Rolf Benz leather collection has been used for the Rolf Benz MIO. This natural leather, dyed in a drum according to the traditional old methods of the craft, shows the natural characteristics of the hide, the sign of top quality. Only the best hides of cattle from Southern Germany are suitable to be processed in this way. The tanning – a combination of chrome and vegetable tanning – and the finishing of the leather are all carried out in Germany under the strictest environmental regulations. The pleasing softness of the leather is achieved by a particularly gentle finishing and extra-long milling time. The light wax coating that finishes the surface makes for a wonderfully pleasant touch, giving it a fashionable “vintage” look, and finally ensures that the leather becomes even more beautiful with use.
