OLIVIERO TOSCANI CREATED THE LAUNCH CAMPAIGN FOR “LE BAMBOLE” (GOLDEN COMPASS IN 1972), AND THE PROVOCATIVE PICTURES OF DONNA JORDAN, ANDY WARHOL’S MUSE, CONTINUED TO DRAW ATTENTION TO B&B ITALIA’S INNOVATIVE ENERGY. MAXALTO WAS FOUNDED IN 1975. RESEARCH LOOKED TO THE PAST THROUGH NEW INTERPRETATIONS OF CLASSIC FORMS, AND BORROWED FROM TRADITIONAL ARTISAN CABINET MAKING PROCESSES.
